A Little About Me...

Hi. My name is Louise Tiernan and I am a Dublin based freelance web & graphic designer. I graduated from IADT two years ago with a Bsc in Computing in Multimedia Programming and have been freelancing, offering professional & affordable solutions within the print, web and multimedia industry ever since. I also run two other webiste, cssloaf.com - a popular site which showcases stunning web designs from around the world as well as a inspiration gallery curated by myself called andtherestinpennysweets.com

I am a rare hybrid of a designer and a programmer with my skills ranging from concept to execution. I enjoy creating everything from poster artwork, logos and interfaces to developing content management systems, flash applications and whatever else your website needs to function!

One thing I do not offer is jargon or false promises. I understand that not everyone is a web / design expert and that is why I am here to help. I do not charge for quotes, I do not ask you to fill out a 10 page questionnaire and I do not sell you something that you do not need. Design

I am passionate about what I do and love creating visual stunning, functional designs. I believe that design must support functionality & purpose, and vice versa. One can't, and shouldn't, be used to overcome the weaknesses of the other. And this theory is something I incorporate into all my work - from logos that sum up a company in a simple icon to eye catching original posters that get people’s attention from afar and of course to websites that are easy to use, effective and memorably beautiful.Find out more.

I am proficient in many programming languages from XHTML and CSS to actionscript, JavaScript and PHP. I also have experience in blog integration ,developing flash applications, and working with content management systems. For languages & areas in which I do lack experience I have an extensive network of fellow freelancers that I work with, so you can be sure that whatever it is you need developed we can get it done!
